FBR Extends Tax filling date

Refer to Circular No.4 of 2023-24 IR-Operations “Extension in Date of Filing of Income Tax Returns for the Tax Year 2023” Federal Board of Revenues (FBR), Pakistan has announced to extend the date of Income Tax return filling for the Tax year 2023.

Here it is to mention that September 30th, 20223 was earlier declared as last date for the person who were required to file there tax return by the due date.

Now as per above mentioned circular/notification the last date to file tax returns has been extended to 31th October 2023.

Federal Board of Revenues (FBR) has decided to extend the date in view of the request from various Trade bodies and Tax bar associations.

This certainly is a great relief for all those tax payers who were unable to complete there return fillings for the tax year 2023 as of now.
