10 days extension in Hajj application submission in Pakistan: The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony in Pakistan has extended the date for submission of applications under Government Hajj Scheme till 22nd of December 2023.

According to a spokesperson of the ministry, a ten-day extension has been announced on the insistence of intending pilgrims.

Main highlights of Hajj 2024 Government Quota scheme

1.Applications are being received in the sponsorship scheme on a first-come-first-served basis.

2.Those persons paying in dollars from abroad will be declared successful without balloting.

3.The spokesperson further said the five-year moratorium on Hajj-e-Badal has also been revoked on the requests of the public to facilitate maximum people to perform hajj.

4.Moreover people who have performed Hajj during the last five years are eligible to apply for Hajj this year also.

5. An another important information is that single women will be able to perform Hajj in a group of trusted women by producing affidavit mentioning the desired reason.

The Applications can be submitted at the leading banks designated branches in Pakistan which includes National Bank of Pakistan, Habib Bank, United Bank, MCB Bank, Allied Bank, Bank of Punjab, Bank Alfalah, Zarai Taraqiati Bank, Faysal Bank, Askari Bank, Bank Al-Habib, Habib Metropolitan Bank, Soneri Bank, Meezan Bank and Bank Islami.
